Yasin Malik challenges pro-India politicians to contest against him

Srinagar, October 10, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik in a statement challenged pro-India politicians, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and Omar Abdullah, to compete him in a privately contested election to ascertain the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Mohammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said, these politicians always seek votes in the name of roads and electricity and later plead their allegiance with India. He said: “I challenge them to jointly contest us and take the help of their allies and prove what they propagate.

”Commenting upon the recent statements of mufti Sayeed and Umer Abdullah, in which they have once again pleaded their allegiance with India and have tried to justify the illegal Indian occupation of Kashmir, Yasin Malik said, “In our eyes respect for these pro-India leaders and parties will grow if they speak the same language during election times and ask people vote for India.”

Meanwhile the JKLF Chairman expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of veteran businessman Abdul Hamid Bakhshi. Yasin malik visited the bereaved family and paid rich tributes to the departed soul. Yasin Malik also expressed grief over the demise of Haji Muhammad Sikandar Seh of Mehmoodabad Dooru, who breathed his last only one day after coming back from Hajj.
