World Bank delegation calls on Mayor Karachi

Karachi, February 11, 2017 (PPI-OT): Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar said talks underway with the World Bank for various city projects and soon new projects worth Rs4billion will initiate in Karachi. Such a strategy has been made for these projects that all these could provide best facilities to citizens. He said this while talking to a delegation of the World Bank.

He said Funding for different city projects including betterment of Malir, Korangi and Saddar roads was being finalized which would broadened the base of uplift works in the city. Mayor Karachi said the citizens of Karachi were presently in great trouble due to negligence of last eight years. Deputy Mayor Karachi Dr. Arshad Abdullah Vohra assured the delegation that elected leadership of Karachi making all efforts for betterment and progress of Karachi and we want the World Bank to play its effective role in it.
