Waza urges people to follow Hurriyet programmes

Srinagar, May 20, 2017 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has urged the people to follow the programmes of joint resistance leadership. Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressing public gatherings at Seer and Mattan areas said that the brute force used by Indian forces’ personnel on protesters at different places across the Valley was condemnable and the international community should take its strict notice.

Mukhtar Waza was accompanied by party leaders, Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, Nisar Ahmad Rather, Shijat-ul-Islam, Maulana Arif and Shabbir Ahmad Nanwai. Meanwhile, the General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous, in a statement in Srinagar said that Indian government wanted to create rift in ranks of Hurriyet leadership and suppress the ongoing liberation movement through use of brute force but would never succeed in its sinister designs.

He said that the people of Kashmir had rendered unprecedented sacrifices for securing their right to self-determination which would not go waste. He said that the ongoing liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.
