Islamabad, April 24, 2021 (PPI-OT): Ulema and Mashaiekh across the country have urged the people to get vaccinated against Covid-19 even during the holy month of Ramadan. In a joint statement along with Prime Minister’s Special Representative Molana Tahir Ashrafi, they said that Corona vaccine can also be given during fasting and Islamic scholars agree on this. They said that humanity is in danger due to the Corona pandemic and it is high time to seek salvation of Allah Almighty and take precautionary measures to protect the humanity.
The scholars appealed the nation to strictly observe precautionary measures in mosques during prayers to prevent the spread of pandemic. They urged philanthropists to buy vaccines from Zakat and provide those who are entitled to Zakat.
