Three members of street criminal’s gang arrested

Islamabad, February 17, 2018 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Shams Colony Police on Saturday arrested three street criminals and recovered snatched cash, mobile phones as well as weapons from them, a police spokesman said. According to details, SSP Islamabad Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi assigned the task to SP Industrial–Area Liaqat Hayat Niazi to accelerate efforts to arrest criminal elements. A police team headed by DSP Sardar Ghulam Mustafa including SHO Shamas colony Police Station Inspector Mahar Nusrat and ASI Amir Hayat along with other officials succeeded to arrest three street criminals.

They were identified as Asim Ali Shah, Zakria Ali and Usman Ali. Police recovered snatched cash, mobile phone and two pistols from their possession. According to initial investigation, the accused confessed that they along with other accomplices committed criminal acts in sectors G-11, G-13, Chongi no.26, IJP road, area of Noon and Shamas Colony police stations. Further investigation is underway from them. SSP (Operations) Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this performance and directed police officials for effective policing in their respective areas.
