Islamabad, January 30, 2023 (PPI-OT):Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani strongly condemned the blast in Peshawar Police Lines Mosque and deeply grieved over the loss of precious human lives as a result of the blast. He has expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the heirs of those who were martyred in the blast.
The Speaker and the Deputy Speaker have asked the concerned authorities to utilize all necessary resources to provide immediate medical facilities to the injured. He said that targeting innocent worshipers in the mosque is a cowardly act of terrorists no matter how much it is condemned. He said that such evil elements have nothing to do with our religion of Islam. He said that terrorists are humanity.
They are enemies and it is necessary to destroy them. He asked the law enforcement agencies to bring such miscreants to justice and punish them according to the law. The entire nation stands side by side with its security agencies to deal with the scourge of terrorism. The Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly prayed to Allah Almighty to raise the ranks of the martyrs, speedy recovery of the injured and give patience to the families to bear this irreparable loss.
