TeH denounces slapping of PSA on Hurriyet leaders, activists

Srinagar, March 25, 2017 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir (TeH) has denounced the slapping of draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA) on Hurriyet leaders and activists.

The Tehreek-e-Hurriyet spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the PSA was slapped on Mohammad Shaba’an Khan Sopore, Ghulam Nabi Gojri, Abdul Majeed Shah and Lateef Ahmad Kaloo for second time while Ghulam Mohammad Khan Sopori and Abdul Aziz Ganai were also booked under the draconian law.

He said that the present puppet regime had crossed all the limits of taking revenge from the people of Kashmir which had proved that it could go to any extent to suppress the freedom sentiment of Kashmiris. He said that killings, arrests, raids, restrictions and harassments had become a routine in the territory which was condemnable.

The spokesman also condemned the re-arrest of Faisal Majeed, the son of illegally detained Tehreek-e-Hurriyet leader, Abdul Majeed Lone. Faisal was released a month ago.
