Lahore High Court orders to suspend ongoing Police operation at Zaman Park

Islamabad, March 15, 2023 (PPI-OT): Lahore High Court has ordered to immediately suspend the ongoing Police operation to arrest PTI Chairman Imran Khan at Zaman Park Lahore. Hearing the case, filed by PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh also ordered the Police force to remain at 500 meters’ distance from the Mall Canal Bridge, Dharampura Bridge and Sunder Das Road. Pakistan, US agree to advance transition to renewable energy

Islamabad, March 15, 2023 (PPI-OT): Pakistan and the United States have agreed to advance transition to renewable energy and promote a more stable, secure and prosperous energy future for both countries. The understanding was reached during Energy Security Dialogue in Islamabad, chaired by Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir Khan and US Department of State Assistant Secretary for Energy Resources Geoffrey Pyatt. Steps being taken to prevent electricity theft on priority: PM

Islamabad, March 15, 2023 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says government is taking steps to prevent theft of electricity on a priority basis. Chairing a meeting regarding provincialization of Electricity Distribution Companies in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said government has formulated a strategy to reduce the losses of the electricity distribution companies in collaboration with the provinces. The Prime Minister pledged that government will effectively stop elements involved in electricity theft. He said federal government will provide technical assistance to enhance the capacity of the provinces. National anti-measles drive kicks off

Islamabad, October 16, 2018 (PPI-OT): President Dr Arif Alvi on Monday launched the national immunization drive against measles, under which children aging nine months to five years will be vaccinated during October 15-27.
