State Minister for Religious Affairs calls on Punjab Chief Minister

Lahore, November 16, 2017 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Pir Amin-ul-Hasnat called on the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here today. During the meeting, different matters of mutual interest, as well as promotion of interfaith harmony, came under discussion. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Islam is a religion of tolerance, peace and tranquillity. The Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) has given a message of tolerance, tranquillity and harmony through His immaculate character and the heart of every Muslim is filled with the purest love of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

He observed that need for interfaith harmony and tolerance is ever than before and it is the need of the hour to promote it at the grassroots. Pakistan has to be moved further by following the golden principles of brotherhood, unity and cohesion. The Chief Minister said that there is no room for fanaticism and terrorism in Pakistan of Quaid and added that promotion of a societal order based on tolerance and tranquillity is our mission and we all shall work collectively to make Pakistan a hub of peace and tolerance.
