Several people arrested in SIA raids at multiple locations in IIOJK

Srinagar, September 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):Many people were arrested in the ongoing raids by India-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) at multiple locations in central and north parts Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The sleuths of the investigating agency backed by Indian police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) carried out raids in Srinagar, Budgam and Kupwara districts. In Srinagar, a raid was conducted at a hotel, in which one person Gulzar Ahmad Mir, a soil assistant in the agriculture department, was harassed and questioned.

Another team of SIA raided the residence of Bashir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Batpora Kachwari in Budgam district. An officer confirmed that some people were arrested under draconian laws. The SIA is engaged in raids on pro-freedom activists, Jamaat-e-Islami workers and its institutions across the territory.
