Srinagar, August 06, 2020 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, renowned human rights activist Mohammad Ahsan Untoo has been released from India’s one-year illegal detention. Muhammad Ahsan Untoo was arrested by Indian police in the wake of illegal actions taken by New Delhi in the occupied territory on August 5, 2019.
Chairman of Islamic Political Party Mohammad Yousuf Naqash and Chairman Muslim Conference Shabbir Ahmad Dar visited the residence of Mohammad Ahsan Untoo. They welcomed Untoo’s release and hoped that other illegal detainees would also be released from Indian jails.
