Qadeer Dar inquires about health of victims

Srinagar, July 18, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the human rights defender Abdul Qadeer Dar visited district hospital, Baramulla, and met the victims Hilal Ahmad, Sajad Ahmad, residents of Khaitagan, Suhail, residents of Doubgah.

Abdul Hamid, residents of Rabban and akash Maqbool residents of Watergam Rafiabad. Hilal has bullet injury at his stomach and Sajad has bullet at his leg. Suhail and Abdul Hamid were brutally tortured by army. Akash Maqbool has pellet injuries at his eye and face, Showkat Ahmad, residents of Karalgund has bullet injury at nose.He said that Pakistan should send delegations of its parliamentarian to different countries to create awareness about prevailing situation in Kashmir. The protests, which are being organized in many countries are need of the hour because this is the way forward for a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute.

Abdul Qadeer Dar said protest in India from Kolkata to Delhi by Indian civil society and students for raising their voice against the atrocities committed on innocent Kashmiris show that now the Indians also realize that atrocities were being committed on Kashmiris.
