Srinagar, September 22, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), headed by Shabbir Ahmed Shah, has condemned the Indian police raid and ransacking of the residences of Hurriyet leaders, Mohammad Yousuf Falahi and Mohammad Amin in Pulwama and Shopian.
The DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the atrocities of Indian police were on its peak and people were harassed, humiliated and beaten inside their homes and the properties were ransacked. Condemning the stepped up Indian state terrorism in the territory, he said that arrest and harassment could not suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people.
Meanwhile, the illegally detained party Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, and General Secretary, Maulana Abdullah Tari in their statements expressed grief over the demise of the mother of late Dr Qazi Nisar and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. They also prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. A party delegation led by Zahoor Ahmed Sheikh visited Islamabad town and condoled with the bereaved family.
