Islamabad, February 01, 2021 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Imran Khan while rejecting the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority’s summary for increasing price of petrol by 13.18 rupees per litre, has approved a minimal increase of just 2.70 rupee per litre.
According to a press release by the Prime Minister Office the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority had proposed an increase of 12.12 rupees and 11.10 rupees per litre in prices of high speed diesel and kerosene oil respectively. However, considering the public interest, the prime minister approved an increase of 2.88 rupee per litre for high speed diesel, and 3.54 rupee per litre in the prices of kerosene oil.
