Performance would make Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) win the next elections: Marvi Memon

Islamabad, May 18, 2016 (PPI-OT):The performance of the government would make PML (N) win the next elections. Confused opposition should concentrate on public service in their respective areas of power rather than mudslinging. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif emerged victorious after answering the questions from opposition in parliament.

The government was always ready to cooperate with the opposition on terms of reference and now parliamentary committee is working on it. This was stated by Minister of State and Chairperson BISP MNA Marvi Memon in her address to the local representatives, notables and beneficiaries during her visit to Mirpur (AJK).

On the occasion, Chairperson reiterated that the new poverty survey would be transparent and BISP would put in hard efforts to make it the best in the world. Mirpur was ignored in the last survey conducted in 2010 under previous government. This time it would get its due share.

The Chairperson further added that new poverty survey would employ the latest technology. Desk Approach would be complemented by door to door survey. The survey teams would be accompanied by monitoring teams as well to ensure transparency and best international practices. All the loop holes of the last survey conducted in 2010 would be tackled in the upcoming survey.

Chairperson BISP is visiting the pilot phase districts of new poverty survey to sensitize the masses on National Socio Economic Registry update (NSER). In this connection she visited Divisional Office BISP Mirpur, Nangi and New Mirpur City accompanied by PML (N) leaders Ch Ijaz Raza and Ch Saeed. Pilot phase of new poverty survey will start after Ramadan followed by national roll out in January 2017.

Chairperson further added that she is thankful to the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar for entrusting her with the most sacred responsibility of representing the poorest of the poor. She is proud to lead the vulnerable women as these women represent untapped potential of the beloved land and BISP is investing in them so that they may graduate out of poverty and contribute to economy. BISP is recognized as one of the best social safety nets that not only assists the downtrodden but is working to make them self reliant as well.
