Pakistan urges UNSC to implement its resolutions on Kashmir

New York, January 18, 2016 (PPI-OT): Pakistan has urged the UN Security Council to implement its resolutions on Kashmir, which call for holding plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir for determination Kashmiris’ future through right to self-determination.

According to Kashmir Media Service,, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi in a letter to Security Council President Elbio Rosselli said that the resolution was a matter of the determination of future of Kashmiris. She urged the council to retain its agenda of Pakistan-India question under which resolutions were adopted for the settlement of Kashmir dispute, the letter said.
