No Friday prayers at Srinagar Jamia Masjid for 5th week

Srinagar, October 27, 2017 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities disallowed congregational Juma prayers, today, at historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar for the fifth consecutive week. The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik had called for shutdown in the territory and had asked people to observe Black Day, today. The puppet authorities placed Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who delivers weekly sermon at the Jamia Masjid every Friday, has been placed under house arrest. Indian police also arrested Hurriyat leaders, Hakeem Abdur Rasheed and Mukhtar Ahmed Waza from Srinagar and Islamabad town and lodged them in police stations.
