Newspaper has deluded the interview of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif: Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore, May 14, 2018 (PPI-OT): President PML-N and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that a newspaper has deluded the interview of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, in which he said that non-State actors have been allowed to leave Pakistan. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif can’t say such a thing. The government of Pakistan and Pakistanis can never allow that their homeland to be used against any country and on the other side India is killing innocent Kashmiris in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK). Thousands of people are dying daily as Indian Army is oppressing Kashmiris on the orders of Modi also trying to create chaos in Baluchistan.

He said that a sitting Indian Colonel was involved in the atrocity carried against Muslims in Samjhota Express. India is conspiring against Pakistan in Afghanistan as well. Furthermore he added that Pakistan Army is the best army of the world and if India will try anything against Pakistan it will be dealt with strict hands. He said that Pakistan army has rendered great sacrifices in the war against terrorism and tried its best to nip this evil in the bud. He said that all the units including Sindh, Punjab, KPK, Baluchistan and Gilgit Baltistan together make Pakistan and development of Pakistan is not possible without progress of any of these units.

Likewise, development of Sindh is mandatory for a prosperous Pakistan. He bashed out Zardari and said that he has been ruling Sindh from a decade now but no visible change could be witnessed there. If Allah Almighty gives us the opportunity then we will change the density of Sindh in coming five years and Sindh will be most developed province of Pakistan, he claimed. CM said that Sindh will be brought equal to Punjab in term of development and Karachi just as Lahore. He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering and said that he has visited Sindhri after long. First time I was being here when former Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Junejo left us, he recalled.

CM said that Muhammad Khan Junejo was a noble and decent person and now his son Asad Junejo is senator. He said that he has been to Sindh two times from last two week. Even though I am the Chief Minister of Punjab but I hold great love and regard for the people of Sindh. He said that undoubtedly Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto (Late) were great leaders but Zardari has destroyed and plundered the resources of Sindh by taking away the money out of Pakistan. He said that people are lying on the issue of water as all the four provinces are getting their due amount.

It is their own the loophole that they are involved in the theft of water but levelling allegations on government of Pakistan. He said that we are very respectful towards the farmers of Sindh and Haris also regard their efforts. If people of Sindh do not want Kala Bagh Dam we will sacrifice it out of their love and respect. CM said that he is not only claiming all these things but assure them that he will not leave any stone unturned to provide Sindhis with their basic rights. He said that we have utilized all our resources for the development of Punjab with honesty. Small farmers were provided with interest-free loans and fertilizers at cheaper rates.

In order to provide employment opportunities to the youth we have provided interest free loans worth of 40 billion rupees through which one crore and 20 lakh people were facilitated. Brilliant students of unprivileged families especially girl students were provided scholarships under Punjab Educational Endowment Fund and from last ten years, 3.5 lakh children have got scholarships. He said that we have established Danish schools in remote areas of the province where poor children are not only getting quality education but hostel facilities free of cost and thousands of these children are now engineers and doctors and serving their country.

He said that sugarcane farmers in Sindh are not getting their due reward of their hard work whereas we have taken great initiatives for the progress of small farmers. Moreover, he added that the key point of all educational and developmental programs of Punjab province is that it has incorporated all the units of Pakistan in its program which has promoted national integrity. He said that with the worth of hundred billion rupees we have laid roads of 8 thousand kilometers in the rural areas of Punjab. Free medicines are being provided in the government hospitals and CT scan machines have been installed in all the district headquarters hospitals of the province where patients are getting the CT scan facility 24 hours a day. Filter clinics to facilitate hepatitis patients are also being set up in the whole province.

He said that Zardari government has done nothing in the last ten years for the progress of people of the Sindh to provide relief to them. He assured the people of Sindh a promising change in their life if they give him opportunity to serve them in coming elections. He said that there is no dearth of resources and I promise you that Sindh will be the most developed province in next five years and we together will work hard to make this region of Sufis great. President PML-N Sindh Shah Muhammad Shah and Senator Asad Junejo also addressed the gathering.

Before that CM visited Junejo House at Sindhri and met Shah Muhammad Shah, Asad Junejo, Ishtiaq Baig and other leaders. While conversing with them CM said that he is very happy to be at Sindh and the passion of workers is palpable. The delegation said that they hope Shehbaz Sharif will bring prosperity to Sindh after winning elections just as Punjab as Sindh is in need of Punjab Speed. They wished that Sindh has Chief Minister like Shehbaz Sharif, people of Sindh might have progressed.

CM while conversing with the delegation said that the government of PML-N has pulled the country out of issues and put on the road of development. He said that lawyers have played undeniable character for strengthening democracy and establishing independent judiciary. They also displayed exemplary character in providing people with justice. Those who called on CM included Bar Association Mir Pur Khas, traders association, Cotton General Association, Youth Wing PML-N and other delegations. Shehbaz Sharif also visited the grave of former Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Junejo and offered Fatiha.
