Mukhtar Waza pays tributes to martyred youth

Srinagar, January 02, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Jammu Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, visited Pulwama, today, and paid glowing tributes to a youth who was recently martyred by Indian troops.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, he paid rich tributes to the martyred youth and reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to take the mission of their martyrs to its logical conclusion. He appealed to the international community to come forward and fulfil its responsibilities regarding resolution of the Kashmir dispute. He said that India’s brutal oppression and suppression since 1947 had miserably failed to crush the ongoing freedom struggle of Kashmiri people and they were destined to achieve freedom from Indian bondage for which they had rendered matchless sacrifices.

Mukhtar Waza said that Kashmiris knew their history and no one could deny the fact that Kashmir was a disputed territory and could only be resolved through the implementation of the relevant UN resolutions. He was accompanied by Hurriyet leaders and activists including Mohammad Musadiq Aadil, Jaffer Kashmiri and Imtiyaz Ahmad.
