MeA calls for political settlement of Kashmir dispute

Srinagar, June 24, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, an extraordinary meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi was held in Srinagar with its President, Muhammad Iqbal Mir in chair, today. Muhammad Iqbal Mir addressing the meeting said that Kashmir was a political dispute and should be resolved politically and democratically in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people. He said military might is no solution to any issue rather in further complicates the disputes.

Muhammad Iqbal Mir said that all the stakeholders of the Kashmir dispute, India, Pakistan and the genuine representatives of the Kashmiri people should sit together and settle the dispute peacefully so that permanent peace could be established in the region.

The participants of the meeting also paid glowing tributes to the recently martyred youth and reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to continue the freedom movement till it reached its logical conclusion. Party leaders, Qutb Alam, Jamshed Aadil, Irshad Hussain, Manzoor Ahmed Butt, Nazir Ahmed, Sajjad Ahmed and a large number of activists participated in the meeting.
