Margalla Police arrested accused involved in blind murder case 

Islamabad, January 01, 2023 (PPI-OT):Islamabad capital police Margalla police station investigation wing teams have traced a blind murder case committed by a house servant, a police public relations officer said. He said that, on 26.09.2022 Margalla police team received information that a woman’s dead body was found at F-8/1 jurisdiction. Upon receiving the information, the Margalla Police registered a case FIR no. 475 under section 302/ 34.

Following the incident, a special investigation team was constituted. Police team utilized all available resources and used technical and human resources and arrested the accused involved in it. The accused was identified as Muhammad Jamil.

The accused was the victim’s house servant. Mohammad Jameel strangled his owner Afshan Amir to death after he was caught red-handed stealing cash and jewellery from his house and tried to paint the incident as suicide/natural death. During the investigation, the Margalla police team recovered Rs 850,000 worth of stolen cash and jewellery. Further investigation is underway.

Senior police officers appreciated the performance of the police team and further directed all officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
