KUSU denounces murderous assault on varsity café waiter

Srinagar, December 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Kashmir University Students Union (KUSU) has strongly condemned the murderous assault on a waiter, Riyaz Ahmad, of the University cafeteria by the hooligans of Indian National Congress backed organization. The KUSU in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “The brutal attack has left Riyaz Ahmad on ventilator in intensive care unit at Soura Medical Complex, as he has received serious head injuries.”

The union deplored that the goons associated with the Indian National Congress, supported by varsity administration, again resorted to vandalism and attacked the cafeteria, harassed the visitors and tried to burn the café.

“The India-backed student groups have been getting the patronage of Indian and varsity officials. This incident demonstrates that officials are helpless against this minor group in, as was evident in their pleasing of the goons by being mute spectators,” the statement added.

“The vandalism and disruption of academic atmosphere by the Indian backed student groups like NSUI (Congress), NCSU (NC) is pathetic and so is the muteness of the varsity administration on the same,” the student union complained.
