Khatam-E-Quran-E-Majeed and Dua held in Jamai Masjid, Parliament House in Connection with the Observance of 6th September

Islamabad, September 06, 2019 (PPI-OT): In connection with the observance of the 6th September, 2019 as Defence Day and Shuhda e Kashmir Day, Khatam Quran-e- Majeed was held in the Jamai Masjid of Parliament House, today after Juma Prayers. The Khatam-e- Quran was attended by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Azam Khan Swati, Members of the Senate and National Assembly, employees of Senate and National Assembly Secretariats and Officers and staff of Allied Departments working in the Parliament House.

After Khatam-e-Quran, Fateha was offered for the Martyrs of 1965 war, Kashmir Freedom Movement and Military and Police Personnel martyred in fight against terrorism. Prayers were also offered for the success of the Kashmiris for attaining the right of self-determination in accordance with their aspiration. The participants also prayed for the integrity and stability of the Pakistan.
