Kashmiri martyred youth Sheikh Tanveer remembered

Srinagar, June 20, 2016 (PPI-OT):The Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) held a condolence reference in Islamabad, today, to remember Sheikh Tanveer, martyred by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.

The speakers on the occasion paid rich tributes to the martyred Kashmiri youth. The meeting was chaired by APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Mohammad Safi while Brigadier (Retd) Asif Haroon was the chief guest.

The participants strongly condemned the Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory and said that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle for securing their birthright to self-determination.

The speakers urged the Pakistan government to play its role in halting genocide of youth in Kashmir and accelerate its diplomatic efforts at international level so that India could be brought on negotiation table and the Kashmir dispute could be settled in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Minority representative, J Salik, Hurriyet leaders, Sardar Sagheer Chughtai, Zafar Akbar Butt, Mohammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Manzoor-ul-Haq Butt, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Khadim Hussain, Mohammad Sultan, Imtiaz Iqbal, Abdul Majeed Malik, Mohammad Rafique Dar, Ejaz Rehmani, Hasan Al-Bana, Abdul Hameed Lone, Syed Muzaffar Shah, Advocate Pervez Ahmad, Altaf Ahmad Butt and Raja Khurshid Usmani participated in the meeting.
