Kashmir dispute termed as threat to regional peace

Srinagar, January 28, 2017 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has said that Kashmir dispute is threat to peace and stability of the whole south Asian region.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressing a protest rally organised by JKPL at Bawoora Dachnipora said that Kashmir dispute was the root cause of tension and enmity between Pakistan and India.

He urged India to come forward and settle the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people so that permanent peace could be established in the region.

On the occasion, Mukhtar Waza paid glowing tributes to all martyrs and said that India should read writing on the walls that it could not in any way suppress freedom movement of the people of Kashmir.

He said, “With each passing day our brave youth are rendering their precious lives for the Kashmir cause.” He said that India must realise that Kashmiris would not compromise on their birthright to self-determination and would continue their struggle till complete success.

Mukhtar Waza said that resistance leadership was guardian of the martyrs’ sacrifices and would continue their mission till taking it to its logical conclusion.

Meanwhile, a press release issued by Islamic Political Party said that IPP leader Adnan Salafi today addressed a public gathering at Nagsharan, Shopian, in south Kashmir. On the occasion, he deplored the apathy of the international community towards the sufferings of the people of Kashmir.
