Kashmir dispute root cause of Pak-India tense relations

Srinagar, August 28, 2015 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), Chairman Zafar Akbar Butt has said that Kashmir dispute is the root cause of Pak-India tense relations and border confrontation. Zafar Akbar Butt addressing a rally in Pakharpora, Pulwama, said that the problems India and Pakistan were facing were because of Kashmir conflict. If the two countries want to improve ties and resolves issues they need to resolve the Kashmir dispute according to the aspirations of Kashmiris, he added.

The rally was attended by hundreds of people particularly youth who raised pro-freedom slogans. Rich tributes were paid to martyrs in the rally and participants wowed to take the freedom struggle to its logical conclusion. He condemned the use of brute force on protesters in Kulgam district during which several teenagers received critical injuries in past two weeks.

He termed the slapping of draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) on youth in Pulwama and Shopian as inhuman and said that the authorities were trying to crush the ongoing freedom struggle through use of brute force. He paid rich tributes to martyrs who laid down their lives for the ongoing freedom struggle and wowed to take the ongoing freedom struggle to its logical conclusion.
