Srinagar, April 14, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, on Tuesday afternoon, when news about the firing of Indian Army on protesters in Handwara spread in the town, a journalist, Zahoor Ahmad Butt, hurriedly rushed to sub-district hospital Handwara to check the details about the casualties.
Zahoor Ahmad Butt, who works for a Srinagar-based wire agency, said that he was scribbling names of the injured on his writing pad when someone informed him that two bodies were lying near the operation theatre. He said that he entered the OT to see two shrouded bodies.
Zahoor Butt said that when a hospital attendant lifted the shroud on one of the bodies, he was shocked to see his younger brother, Nayeem Ahmad Butt’s body. “I was shocked to see my brother lying dead. Involuntarily, I wrote his name in my writing pad,” Zahoor Butt said in an interview with a Srinagar-based English daily.
