Islamabad Police visions Islamabad as `crime free’ city

Islamabad, March 06, 2021 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Police has arrested 38 outlaws including 17 professional beggars and recovered narcotics, wine, stolen valuables, kites and illegal weapons and ammunition from them, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

The SSP (Operations) said that ICT Police is accelerating its all-out efforts to curb the crime. During crackdown against outlaws, he said that 38 outlaws including 17 professional beggars arrested

According to details, SP (Rural-Zone) Rana Abdul Wahab constituted special police team under the supervision of SHO Sihala, SHO Koral along with other officials which arrested two drug pushers identified as Muhammad Ishfaq and Arshad and recovered 4.380 kilogram hashish from their possession. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them.

Tarnol police arrested two accused Sana Ullah and Hazrat Noor and recovered 2.465 kilogram hashish from their possession. Karachi company police arrested bootleggers namely Allah Reham and recovered 44wine bottles from him. Khanna police arrested 03 accused Aamir, Zahid and Sajjad and recovered kites, strings and two pistols from their possession.

Industrial-Area police arrested accused Wajid and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Shalimar police arrested accused Misbha-Ullah and recovered 30 liters of alcohol from him,while police also arrested an afghan national accused Abdullah. Shahzad Town police arrested accused Naleem Hussain and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him.

Homicide unit police arrested accused Sohbat Khan involved in murder case and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Lohibher police arrested accused Azmat involved in a theft case and recovered stolen valuables from him.

Shams Colony police team arrested six persons including three lady involved in immoral activities.While police teams Ramana, Khanna, Koral, Shahzad Town , Women , Sabzi Mandi and Aabpara arrested17 professional baggers from various area of the city.Cases have been registered against all nominated accused and further investigation is underway from them. SSP (Operations) Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveerhas appreciated this overall performance of Islamabad Police and further directed to continue it.
