Srinagar, March 02, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader, Firdous Ahmad Shah, has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Zakura massacre on their martyrdom anniversary. More than 30 people were killed and dozens others were injured when Indian troops had opened fire on peaceful protesters in Zukoora and Tengpora areas of Srinagar on March 1, 1990.
Firdous Ahmed Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India right from the first day of illegal occupation over Jammu and Kashmir was trying to suppress the Kashmiris. However, he said that Indian brutalities had failed to subdue the resolve of the Kashmiri people to get rid of its bondage.
