Corps Commander Lahore pays farewell call on Punjab Chief Minister

Lahore, October 09, 2017 (PPI-OT):Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen. Sadiq Ali paid a farewell call on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here today. The Chief Minister paid tributes to the services of Lt. Gen. Sadiq Ali for rendering his duties in a professional manner as Corp Commander Lahore. He also expressed good wishes for his future responsibilities. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said the nation is proud of brave armed forces of Pakistan who have written a new history in war against terrorism.

He said that the officers and jawans of Pak Army have rendered invaluable services for setting peace and due to the blood of the martyrs; the peace is maintained in Pakistan today. He said that wonderful successes have been achieved in war against terrorism due to the concurred decisions made by political and military leadership and added that this war is a battle of survival of Pakistan which will be won through the power of unity and collective efforts.
