Concern expressed over Aasiya’s house arrest in IOK

Srinagar, December 30, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) has expressed serious concern over the continued house arrest of its Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi.

The DeM General Secretary, Nahida Nasreen in a statement issued in Srinagar castigated the puppet government Nasreen and added that Aasiya Andrabi had been detained as political vendetta and her movement had been crippled.

She said the personal life of Aasiya has got impacted and termed her house detention the worst than that of jail. “What is the fun of releasing someone when she is to be detained at her home,” Nasreen questioned?

Nasreen said that the family of Aasiya had decided to move the court against her continued illegal detention.
