Lahore, November 03, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 28800 cusecs and Outflows 45000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 3500 cusecs and Outflows 3500 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 7200 cusecs and Outflows 30000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 8800 cusecs and Outflows 2000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 54100 cusecs and Outflows 48600 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 47400 cusecs and Outflows 38000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 36900 cusecs and Outflows 36400 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 6900 cusecs and Outflows 3900 cusecs Guddu: Inflows 39700 cusecs and Outflows 33500 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 33100 cusecs and Outflows 7600 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 8300 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1477.59 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.542 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1177.95 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.199 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 641.60 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.066 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
