Lahore, September 13, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 92800 cusecs and Outflows 125000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 19000 cusecs and Outflows 19000 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 15900 cusecs and Outflows 40000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 28000 cusecs and Outflows 8000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 161600 cusecs and Outflows 153800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 155000 cusecs and Outflows 160000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 155000 cusecs and Outflows 136100 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 18900 cusecs and Outflows 3600 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 137200 cusecs and Outflows 104600 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 100200 cusecs and Outflows 43000 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 39600 cusecs and Outflows 2400.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1529.90 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 5.049 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1223.95 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.022 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 645.90 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.165 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
