Indian troops resort to vandalism in Shopian during CASO

Srinagar, November 04, 2017 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops vandalized the Wathoo area of Shopian during a cordon and search operation (CASO). Local people told mediamen that the troops laid a siege in Malik Mohalla and Astan-Mohalla. The furious soldiers smashed windscreens of parked cars and windowpanes of about a dozen of residential houses of Astan-Mohalla, they said.

The residents said that the troops damaged everything that came in their way. “They (troops) smashed cars, windowpanes of houses and whatsoever came in their way,” a local resident said. Another local said that the troops damaged his 30 boxes of apples and scattered the apples around the courtyard.
