Indian police arrest JI leader in Bandipora

Srinagar, October 29, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police have arrested the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) District President for Bandipora.

The police arrested the JI leader, Hafiz Sikander Malik, a resident of Gundpora Rampora area of Bandipora from Sumlar village while he was on his way to Bandipora after offering Friday prayers there, yesterday.

Meanwhile, the police also picked up a youth, Waseem Ahmad, in Plan area of Bandipora during anti-India demonstrations.
