Srinagar, April 04, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) has said that the Kashmir dispute, which is an unfinished agenda of the partition of Sub Continent, has resulted in bloodshed and political uncertainty in the region over the past more than seven decades.
This has been stated during the central executive committee meeting of the party at its head office in South Kashmir. The members in the meeting deliberated in detail, the current political situation in the territory.
A spokesperson of the party in a statement issued after the meeting said that the meeting warned the Indian authorities their rigid and unrealistic approach has endangered the peace process in South Asia. Kashmir issue has its political and untoward consequences and there are possible chances of greater war between the two nuclear powers of the region, he added.
The meeting besides others was attended by Abdul Rouf, Abdul Qayoom, Zulifqar Hamid Molvi Rafiq Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad, Mohammad Ayoub and others. The participants blamed the stubborn attitude of Indian authorities for continuous bloodshed in IIOJ and said that for the last several decades, people are facing a war-like situation.
The executive members expressed dismay over the Indian arrogance not to read the writing on the wall. “We will never succumb or surrender to the military might and pressure of India”, they added. Meanwhile, JKSM Chairman Altaf Ahmed Butt paid tributes to the martyrs of Shopian and Kakpora and expressed hope that the people of IIOJK, keeping in view the precious sacrifices of youth shall keep a close vigil on the ongoing movement so that it reaches its destination.
