High Commissioner to visit Birmingham

London, April 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK will visit Birmingham on 27-28 April 2018. The visit is a part of trade promotion and community outreach efforts of the High Commission. During his visit, the High Commissioner would visit Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and discuss trade promotion between Pakistan and the UK. Deliberations would also be made on forging business to business ties between the Birmingham Chamber and Pakistani Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The High Commissioner would also interact with the Pakistani community of Birmingham and adjacent areas at the Consulate and discuss with them matters pertaining to our diaspora. He will also review the Consular Services being provided to the community at the Consulate.

The High Commissioner is scheduled to visit Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, and would discuss ways and means to enhance Pakistan-UK bilateral business and trade ties. Besides, the High Commissioner would also interact with the business community of Birmingham.

Meetings with the local MPs and political leadership of Birmingham are also in the schedule of the High Commissioner. The members of the Pakistani community and other Pakistani origin organizations, desirous of meeting with the High Commissioner, may contact the Consul of Pakistan at Birmingham Consulate.
