Dr Jitendra sheltering Kashmiri Muslims’ killers: Engr. Rasheed

Srinagar, March 16, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Awami Ittehad Party Chairman and member of the so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed, has said that Indian Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, is sheltering the killers of Kashmiri Muslims at his office in New Delhi.

Engineer Abdur Rasheed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that former Minister, Sunil Kumar, and assembly members from Baderwah and Doda were also providing shelter to the wanted murderers of Lassa Khanday and Bashir Ahmad, who were killed in Kishtwar.

“There can be nothing condemnable, shameful and unacceptable than the fact that Hari Krishan alias Kasooru was seen at Dr Jitendra Singh’s residence in Delhi along with the MLAs of Kishtwar, Dodda and Baderwah,” he said.

“If a most wanted criminal and killer can have his access to residence of a senior Indian Minister and that too along with three MLAs, there needs to be no further proofs of BJP’s involvement at the highest level in promoting communal riots and acting as collaborators,” he said.

It is not the first evidence that BJP’s top leadership has been seen openly with the wanted persons in murderous charges but last year senior BJP leader and a minister in Mufti Sayeed’s regime, Sunil Kumar, was seen enjoying a cricket match in Kishtwar along with one Rohan Lal, wanted in offence of burning Bashir Ahmad alive during 2013 anti-Muslim riots in Kishtwar.

Can BJP leaders explain how offence or crime of Rohan Lal or Hari Kishan is different from a terrorist activity? he asked. “Jitendra Singh and his colleagues cannot escape from owning the responsibility of being collaborators of most wanted criminals by saying that they didn’t know them, intelligence and security agencies on duty at Jitendra Singh’s residence are supposed and duty bound to know whereabouts of every individual or group visiting the minister,” he said.
