Documentary on WED highlighting Pak efforts to tackle climate change’ challenges released

Islamabad, June 05, 2021 (PPI-OT):A special documentary on World Environment Day highlighting Pakistan’s efforts to cope with the challenges posed by climate change has been released. It has recognized Pakistan as a Global Leader for protecting environment and battling climate change. The documentary while highlighting Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for conserving nature said Pakistan is planting 10 billion trees, the largest ever tree plantation drive in the history of Pakistan. Through its nature conservation efforts, Pakistan has also created employment opportunities for over 85,000 people during COVID.
