DAK condemns torture of civilians in Bandipore

Srinagar, November 17, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK,) has condemned the brutal torture of seven civilians including a female by Indian army at Chuntimulla in Bandipor district. President DAK Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan in a statement in Srinagar while terming it as a crime of utter savagery said that such heinous act of physical abuse on civilians was a grave human rights violation.

Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan expressing outrage over dragging civilians out and torturing them ruthlessly inside Indian army camp said that it was the worst crime against humanity. {“Kashmir is a tormented place where it is not the law but fear that rules,” he added.
