Chief Secretary Sindh speaks to N.M.C participants; K-IV Water Project to start function in September 2019

Karachi, October 09, 2017 (PPI-OT):Chief Secretary Sindh Rizwan Memon has noted that K-IV water project for Karachi would start function in September 2019, while preferential work is continue for provision of clean potable water to the people. He was addressing the participants of 107th NMC Course, on Monday, in Sindh Secretariat. Rizwan also maintained that fruitful results would be achieved on completion of the ongoing projects viz: wind and coal power projects, with the specific reference of Thar development Programme.

Chairman P and D Sindh Muhammad Waseem briefed about 968 on going development schemes, pertained to Health, Education, Municipal Services, Rapid Transport, Works and Services and Irrigation. He also highlighted the project for revival of KCR (Karachi Circular Railway) and RBTS (Rapid Bus Transit System).

Secretary Home Qazi Shahid Pervez highlighted law and order situation, elucidating that the crimes for extortion, target killing, kidnapping for ransom, have also been controlled satisfactorily. He said that budget for Sindh Police has also been increased sufficiently. He also quoted role of Sindh with reference to Operation Zarbe- Azb and Operation Raddul Fasaad. Dean of National Management College (NMC) Lahore Naeem Aslam, paid vote of thanks, Souvenir were also exchanged.
