CASO underway in Shopian villages

Srinagar, October 31, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops launched cordons and search operations in Shopian and Bandipora districts, today. The troops cordoned off Meemandar and Losedenow areas of Shopian in north Kashmir and conducted house-to-house searches, causing huge inconvenience to the people.

The troops also conducted similar operation in Dar Mohalla locality of Garoora in Bandipora district of north Kashmir. Forces launch searches in Bandipora village in north Kashmir. Government forces on Wednesday launched a cordon and search operation in Garoora village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official said that army’s 20 Grenadiers unit and police party of concerned police station launched the searches in Dar Mohalla locality of Garoora. He said searches were launched following inputs about the presence of militants.
