Balochistan Govt taking effective steps for education sector uplift

Balochistan government is taking effective steps for uplift of education sector in order to increase literacy rate of the province.

Officials of Provincial Education Department told our Quetta correspondent in today that more than 12 billion rupees have been allocated for overall progress of education sector while more than 13 billion rupees have been allocated for non-developmental expenditures.

The officials said 700 million rupees would be spent on provision of drinking water and other missing facilities in more than 700 schools in different areas of the province during the current fiscal year.

Similarly, 123 primary schools would be established while 125 primary schools would be upgraded to middle level.
