APHC hails IOK people for observing strike

Srinagar, April 12, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has thanked and hailed people of Kashmir for observing strike to protest against the plans of Indian government to establish separate townships for the Kashmiri Pandits. APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the exemplary strike observed by Kashmiris in the territory should open eyes of pro-India politicians, who for, pity and vested interests, were engaged in hatching conspiracies to divide and sub divide Kashmir on communal and ethnic lines.

He appealed people to be aware of the plans of right-wing Hindu parties who are hell bent upon to divide Kashmir on religious lines. He reiterated that APHC would welcome the return of Kashmiri Pandits to their native places with open arms, adding, the Pandits should uphold the age-old tradition of communal bonhomie and shared culture and live with their Muslim brethren.

Meanwhile, Hurriyet leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan terming the puppet administration as a collaborator of New Delhi in a statement said that the shutdown should open the eyes of those busy in conspiring against Kashmir. He warned against any move towards creating separate Townships for the migrant Pandits. He said that Pandits could come and mingle with the majority as they were earlier, but separate settlements were unacceptable.
