Islamabad, November 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):On the instructions of the Chairman CDA, Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Yunus, the Deputy DG Enforcement has given necessary instructions to the officers and staff in the field of anti-encroachment in the light of these orders. Today, anti-encroachment squads conducted operations in Kak Pak, Margalla Town, Sector F-6, and Sector I-8 among other areas, seizing 3 trucks of goods and pulling down several fences.
According to the details, due to the encroachment on the Kahota road near the bridge, the flow of traffic was being affected. In view of the public complaints, taking full action against the encroachment on the road side, the encroachment was removed and 2 trucks of goods were confiscated. The town, while operating in phase one, demolished the shed in the street and opened the street to the public. In Sector F-6, the public passage was blocked due to encroachment and taking immediate action seized 1 truckload of goods.
Similarly, in the residential area of F-6, people outside the plot line had encroached on the official fence and the side of the streets, taking immediate action, the fence and other encroachments were pulled down from street number 27-28-29-30 and 31. Such action was taken in Sector I-8 residential area where illegal barriers were erected which caused problems to the citizens. Many ramps were demolished during the operation due to which the street had become narrow. Apart from this, encroachments were demolished outside the plot line in Sector F-7/4.
