Anti-Encroachment Operations 

Islamabad, November 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman CDA Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Yunus has determined to provide a clean and encroachment-free environment to the citizens of Islamabad and in this regard CDA Orders were issued to the officers to play their full role, in the context of which the Deputy DG Enforcement gave necessary instructions to the officers and staff in the field of anti-encroachment.

While carrying out operations in Abad Metro Bus Stop, Saidpur, Lehtrar Road and other areas, 5 trucks of goods were confiscated and several constructions were demolished. According to the details, the movement of traffic was being affected due to encroachments on Lehtrar Road. In view of public complaints, by taking full action against road side encroachments, 2 truckloads of goods were seized by removing the encroachments.

The public parking lot next to the bus stop was occupied by the carriage drivers, the encroachments were removed and 2 truckloads of goods were confiscated and the parking lot was vacated. A room built for the purpose of occupying government land was demolished in Syedpur, Dahi area. In Bari Imam, the same type of action was taken and the constructions were demolished. Apart from this, government land was being encroached by putting up a fence in Sector D 12. Action on public complaints in Sector G-11/1 and G-11/2, the railway fence was broken and the footpath was opened for public. Encroachments will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
