AI uncovers real face of Indian fake democracy: Ali Raza Syed

Brussels, July 03, 2015 (PPI-OT): The Chairman of Kashmir Council European Union, Ali Raza Syed, has said that by releasing an important report on human right situation in occupied Kashmir, the Amnesty International has revealed significant facts regarding human rights abuses and undemocratic attitude of New Delhi in the territory. The Amnesty International in its latest report said that the Indian government and its puppet regime were obstructing justice in the occupied territory. The report also held India and the puppet regime responsible for encouraging the climate of impunity.

Ali Raza Syed maintained that by using the inhuman laws including Public Safety Act (PSA) and Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), the Indian authorities committed brutalities against the innocent people of Kashmir. The KCEU Chairman asked the world community to take serious notice of the situation and prevent India from executing such black laws in occupied Kashmir.

Appreciating the AI’s report, he said, inhuman behaviour of India in the territory had been a reality and the report had certainly unveiled the real and nasty face of India and now it was duty of the world community to review the worst situation of human rights in the occupied territory.

International community should come forward to prevent the massive human rights violations committed by the Indian authorities in Kashmir, he added. He also said that the KCEU would continue to highlight the issue of human rights abuses and peacefully and democratically project the Kashmir dispute at the international level specially in Europe.
