After oppression, India has launched psychological war against Kashmiris

Islamabad, June 16, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party (IPP) Azad Kashmir chapter leader, Syed Mushtaq Hussain, has said that after resorting to oppression, barbarism, harassment and discrimination, India is now engaged in a vicious propaganda to defeat the Kashmiri people by pushing them into a psychological war.

Syed Mushtaq Hussain in a statement issued in Islamabad said that the international reports about India’s defeat at the hands of China in Ladakh region were a clear proof that Indian rulers and their army were just making noises otherwise they were very low on morale.

He said that the valour being shown by the Kashmiri youth while fighting against highly armed 900,000 Indian troops with empty hands made it clear that they were depending on the support of Allah and truthfulness of their cause. “Not handing over the bodies of martyrs to their families, destroying properties and putting behind bars those who speak the truth is part of the psychological war started by India but the Kashmiri people are determined to defeat India at every front,” he said.

Syed Mushtaq Hussain said that the silence maintained by the United Nations on the crimes being committed by India in occupied Kashmir could endanger the peace of the region. He urged the UN and other world bodies to act responsibly and take concrete steps to save the lives of innocent Kashmiris and the peace in the region.

The IPP leader also condemned Indian attempts to circulate fake and concocted material on social media aimed at defaming the resistance leaders and the freedom movement. He said that the Kashmiris were well aware of such vicious propaganda unleashed by India and they would not let India to succeed in its nefarious designs. He reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to carry forward the martyrs’ mission till its accomplishment.
