CTO Islamabad distribute gifts among Christian employees 

Islamabad, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Islamabad Capital Police Traffic division arranged a ceremony in connection with Christmas and distributed gifts among the Christian employees, a police public relations officer said. 34th Convocation Ceremony held at Pakistan Navy Engineering College 

Islamabad, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):34th Convocation Ceremony of Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC) was held at Karachi. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Naval Chief conferred 382 graduates with PhDs, Masters and Bachelor degrees whereas 41 medals were also awarded to students in various academic disciplines for outstanding performances. Two members of criminals gang held, looted cash and valuables recovered 

Islamabad, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Islamabad capital Police Ramna police team has arrested two members of a criminal gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered looted cash and valuables from their possession, a Police Public Relation Officer said. Islamabad, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Islamabad capital police apprehended 13 outlaws from different areas and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Funeral Prayer of martyred policemen offered at Police Lines Headquarters 

Islamabad, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):A funeral prayer of martyred Head Constable Adeel Hussain offered at police lines headquarters, a police public relations officer said. He said that, in a funeral prayer a large number of police personnel including Secretary Interior, IGP Islamabad, CPO Operations, civil administration, Pak rangers and other senior police officers attended the funeral prayers of martyred police officer at police line headquarters. Digital Payments continue to show rising trend during FY21-22

Karachi, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Annual Payment Systems Report for the fiscal year 2021-22 is released today by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) which presents major developments in the payments eco-system of the country accompanied by overall summary of transactions. In continuation of its efforts to promote and enhance digital payment system in the country, SBP launched Raast Person-to-Person (P2P), which enabled payments among individuals, businesses and other entities to settle transactions in real-time. According to the report, as of Jun-22, there were 15 million registered P2P Raast users, carrying out 7.9 million transactions amounting to Rs102.1 billion in value.

Deposit Protection Corporation Issues Annual Report for FY22
