The Government of Japan funded health project inaugurated in Islamabad

Islamabad, June 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):Mr. Ishii Kensuke, Charge d'Affaires of Japan to Pakistan, on Thursday, 30th June 2022, inaugurated a project for improvement of Dialysis Center in Islamabad being managed by Rehman Foundation, a non-governmental organization, working for provision of free kidney dialysis treatment across Pakistan. The Government of Japan, under its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) Program, had provided financial assistance of US$65,800 under this project, for provision of eight (8) Dialysis Machines to strengthen operational capacity of the institute in the Capital. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the NGO Board Members and regular patients.

SBP Launches Farmers’ Financial Literacy and Awareness Promotion through Digital Media

Karachi, June 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has launched a series of videos in national and regional languages about agriculture financing products and procedures to create awareness among the farming communities across the country, especially in the underserved areas. NADRA to develop biometric verification system for purchase, sale and transfer of property in CDA

Islamabad, June 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) have signed an agreement on the development of Biometric Verification System (BVS) at NADRA headquarters. The agreement was signed between NADRA Chairman Mr. Tariq Malik and CDA Chairman Mr. Amir Ali Ahmed. NADRA will develop biometric verification solutions for the sale, purchase and transfer of property and complete the deployment process. The system will help reduce counterfeiting and eliminate fraudulent attempts to transfer property in the Islamabad Capital City through illicit means or individuals. The CDA handles approximately 20,000 real estate transactions annually.

CM presents a cheque of three million rupees during his visit to the residence of Slain Mujahid Ali in Shahdara

Pakistan dispatches 24.5 tonnes of food for quake-hit Afghan people

Islamabad, June 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Pakistan Afghanistan Cooperation Forum (PACF) has dispatched two trucks, carrying 24.5 tonnes of food, to the Afghan people hit by the recent earthquake. WHO warns growing numbers of monkeypox cases as virus move into high-risk groups

Pakistan urges developed countries to help address challenges oceans face
